Hanford Sand and Gravel, Inc. started out with Preston and Iris Hanford Sr. having a dream of starting a business that would grow and prosper with the surrounding communities throughout the Sacramento Valley. This dream came true in 1973 when Preston and Iris Hanford started Hanford Sand and Gravel, Inc. as a local topsoil and sand supplier in Wilton, CA. Years went on and in 1981 Preston and Diane Hanford Jr. started Hanford Ready Mix, Inc. in Elk Grove, CA. Both companies did great and in 2005 Preston Hanford III took over operations of Hanford Sand and Gravel, Inc. and started running out of Roseville, CA. selling ready-mixed concrete and other related items.

For three generations the Hanford Sand & Gravel Corporation has stood the test of time – here today – here tomorrow. With 50+ years serving our community in the greater Sacramento Valley, HS&G is the region’s premier family owned and operated Ready Mix supplier. We proudly run up to 30 trucks daily from our two locations.
